Community Language Efficiency Outreach (CLEO) Program-9.png

The CLEO-DI Program offers direct install services for eligible residents residing within the SoCalGas service area. The program also offers in-language outreach and energy seminars to support the diverse communities and schools.

Direct Install Services

  • In-language enrollment, needs assessment, and consultation. 

  • No-cost or low-cost direct install.

  • Direct install services may include natural gas appliances, water and HVAC products and services.

 

​Community Language Efficiency Outreach Services

  • Engage with schools to raise awareness about energy-saving programs and tools, helping educate students and staff on how to reduce consumption and promote sustainability.

  • Support and participate in school events and fundraisers that promote energy efficiency for schools.

 

Community Booths

  • ​Support and participate in community events.

  • Program representatives who speak English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Punjabi, Korean, Spanish, and Vietnamese help answer customers energy and environment questions.

 

Energy Seminars

  • In-language no-cost energy seminars for Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Korean, Spanish, and Punjabi language communities. 

  • Discuss ways for these communities to reduce energy consumption and manage utility expenses.

  • Provide information about SoCalGas energy measures, programs, and rebates.

The Community Language Efficiency Outreach- Direct Install (CLEO-DI) Program is funded by California utility customers and administered by Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission, through a contract awarded to GES. Program funds, including any funds utilized for rebates or incentives, will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until such funds are no longer available. This program may be modified or terminated without prior notice. Customers who choose to participate in this program are not obligated to purchase any additional goods or services offered by GES, or any other third party. The selection, purchase, and ownership of goods and/or services are the sole responsibility of customer. SoCalGas makes no warranty, whether express or implied, including the warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, of goods or services selected by customer.
